This page explains what personal data I collect on flyparakite.com, what I do with it and how to exercise your rights.

Data controller

Gabriel Bechier, sole trader, trading as Flyparakite. Full details are in the legal notice. For any question about your data: gab@flyparakite.com.

The data I collect

• “Get my 5% code” form: name, email, the wing you’re interested in, weight, parakite and paragliding experience, usual site and any details you add. I use them to recommend a wing and size, then send you your personal code.
• Contact form: name, email, phone (optional), subject of your request and message. I use them to reply to you.
• “Stay informed” box (optional): if you tick it, I may write to you about course dates and new Flare products. You can ask me to stop at any time.
• WhatsApp: if you message me on WhatsApp, our conversation goes through this Meta service, under its own privacy rules.

This data is processed with your consent, given by ticking the box in each form, and to answer your request before you book a course or buy gear.

Who has access

Only me. Messages sent from the site arrive in my mailbox, hosted by IONOS in Europe. I never sell or pass on your data.

How long I keep it

I keep your messages for no more than 3 years after our last exchange, then delete them.

Cookies

This site uses no analytics or advertising cookies.

• YouTube videos are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode: they only load when you click on them. YouTube (Google) may then set its own cookies.
• The WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp, either the app or its website.

Your rights

You can access your data, have it corrected or deleted, object to its use, ask for it to be restricted or transferred, and withdraw your consent at any time. Email me at gab@flyparakite.com: I’ll reply within one month.

If you think your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
